A simple, system-neutral encumbrance system incorporating weight and bulk

Strangely, I only counted 6 of my posts discussing forum ettiquite, and 5 from others. It would have been 7 from mine and 6 from others, but there were 2 posts that had relevant content as well. And those 4 posts only existed after strenuous complaint. But let us not cut too fine. The point is...

A simple, system-neutral encumbrance system incorporating weight and bulk

I have explained, more than once, that all I wanted was for my idea to actually get discussed before the thread got side-tracked. If you cannot understand why I am angry that the thread immediately began discussing someone elses' idea...Then the problem is no longer on my end.

A simple, system-neutral encumbrance system incorporating weight and bulk

People have offered no ideas for improvement. The topic is not encumbrance in general, and never was. My system was never discussed until I insisted upon it. It might, if you actually discussed my system. Disingenious - Your post was on-topic for a discussion of the Wish spell. It would not be...

Thank you. How would you define "better"? I was aiming for around 80% of the utility of a system that counts weight and bulk, without needing to track two different sets of figures, so "more realistic" is good. I have ignored encumbrance entirely and tracked it in detail, depending on the tone...

Criticism would be fine. To have the idea be otherwise completely ignored? No ideas were exchanged. A bulldozer was run over my idea, to make way for someone elses'. Thread drift is fine. I expect thread drift. I have participated in thread drift. I have drifted threads. On no forum I have...

Maybe someone should explain how a thread topic works?

A simple, system-neutral encumbrance system incorporating weight and bulk

You might have a point, were this a thread about "encumbrance". It is not. It is about a specific encumbrance system. If you do not want to discuss that encumbrance system, feel free to make your own thread about encumbrance. If you made a thread about D&D character creation, it would then be...

A simple, system-neutral encumbrance system incorporating weight and bulk

On forums I have been on before, that would be considered "off-topic", and gain mod attention. In a social situation, diverting someone's topic to discuss your own topic is widely considered rude. "Here is an idea I'd like discussed." "That's stupid. Let's discuss my idea instead."

I just want to complain about stupid people. And scammers. If we cannot complain about stupid people and scammers, what is left? :p

If you are not interested in the encumbrance system I posted, why are you hijacking my thread for your own encumbrance systems? You are being rude. Kindly desist.

Hmm... "Even though there is an equivalent item being sold for new, I must have this exact item!" I can see that. It does not cover when that exact item is also being sold new, however.

Please explain this to me: How do people sell second-hand items on EBay for equal to or more money than the item could be purchased new?? ...I am afraid I already know the answer.

Sword-fighting seems to favour aggression; that is, from what I can see, the more aggressive fighter tends to win, and possibly daunt the less aggressive fighter. This also seems to hold for other forms of martial arts.

The CombatCon 2017 Steel Longsword Finals: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0i_3qeTIXg To clear up possible confusion, I was not there. I do not have the health or money for the hobby. :( The video is posted as a display of good longsword technique. Possibly not good judging technique, but the...
