How would you guys handle this situation?

I really don't know if the player did it on purpose, but the one time I did mention something to him he got very defensive. As for the dm, he didn't lookover anyone's character. He beleives in people being honest. I reminded him of a few rules during the game and he seemed receptive, but I...

How would you guys handle this situation?

I just started playing in a campaign with a bunch of newbies, one other experienced player and a dm who is new to dming. We just recently had our first session and I noticed that the other "experienced" player wasn't really following the rules. He would use a full attack action after making a...

    Question about Flurry of Blows

    Question about Flurry of Blows

I'm not looking for cheese. I'd prefer the accepted interpretation.

    Question about Flurry of Blows

Can a monk use both flurry of blows and two weapon fighting feat at the same time? I assume this was not the creators intention as flurry of blows=two weapon fighting feat= ambidexterity=rapid shot.

    Need help creating a character

Thanks for all the input guys and/or gals. I think I will go with Cleric partly because the party needs it and partly because that is maybe the only char I haven't played in my years of d&d. Again, thanks for the thorough response.

    PCs gone wild

worst I've heard The worst I've heard, luckily I wasn't a part of it, is this. Some friends of mine were doing dragon mountain and one player, who was a charletan bard was in cahoots with the dm. So they get to the final battle and the party is kicking the crap out of the dragon. The dm gets...

Is the Sorceror as bad as I think?

I don't mean to badmouth the sorceror, but when I first heard about the class when 3e was first coming out I envisioned something a little different, I guess. Although, I have a similar problem with the ranger so I guess I just have to deal.

    PCs gone wild

Yeah, I've noticed player backstabbing seemed to be a way of life in Shadowrun as well. I can remember a time where I caught wind of a double cross so I rigged my party members truck with explosives. He pulled his double cross and fled with our cred sticks. He went to start his truck and ...boom!

    Spiked Chain

It is still an awesome weapon in the right hands.

    PCs gone wild

I can't say I've seen this a lot because most of the people I've played with are very group oriented, but I have been in a few campaigns, especially one shot deals, that turned into free for alls. Anyone have any tales of players sticking a knife in the backs of their fellow players?

Is the Sorceror as bad as I think?

Dull as in the limited spell options. I'm sure there are people who could defend every class in the book. I was just looking for someone to defend sorc. I'm just surprised that the only real difference between the sorc and the wizard is how they handle spells.

    Experience Point Rules

I don't know about a complete substitution, but my dm devised a system around roleplaying points. These were subject to the dms opinion based on a few categories like acting in character, making personal sacrifices, speaking in character, etc... These points could then be turned in for things...

    Need help creating a character

gnome druid Good point about the gnome druid, but in the interest of what my party will need I think the cleric makes more sense. I will stow the gnome druid debate away for a later campaign.
