D&D General Teased Lorwyn-Shadowmoor Supplement Crosses Magic: the Gathering and D&D

Hope so. I’m not paying $160 for a 32-page web supplement I don’t even get to own.

And wait: how can they measure a page count on a DDO web-only product?

D&D General Teased Lorwyn-Shadowmoor Supplement Crosses Magic: the Gathering and D&D

So we’re not going to be able to buy this as a book, or even a pdf? Sigh. I was quite excited about this as a proper Small-to-Medium-sized book.

Streaming services, which do you have or are you getting rid of?

We cancelled Disney and Hulu this week. Cancelled Paramount earlier this year. My primary service is PBS Passport. I also subscribed to HistoryVault and Curiosity Stream a while each this year.

    Spoilers For All Mankind

For anyone who might enjoy a future history podcast, Mike Duncan recently stretched out on his long running Revolutions history podcast to tell the history of the Martian Revolution. I really enjoyed it...

The Keep Map and Overland Map look very nice - but are opposite sides of the same poster. That might get me to double dip. Maybe.

    Unpopular Geek Media Opinions

That’s the ticket! Thank you for sharing. I agree about Tolkien (apologies). I have mixed feelings about Who and HP and Firefly. But now I want to learn about the editor(s) of HP*, and what the heck this “Star Fleet” was. * re: HP, I thought the first three books were solid and fun. And I...

D&D 5E (2024) Opinions on the Topaz Dragon Reverse Wings?

Which 1e dragons though? They weren’t so standardized back then. Which was good

D&D 5E (2024) Opinions on the Topaz Dragon Reverse Wings?

I love the floating crystal spines! The backward wings OTOH hurt my rational brain. The former are merely impossible. The latter seem, um, anti-possible?

    Celebrating 50 Years of Chaosium!

I loved the Thieves’ World anthologies back in my teen/1e days. I should probably try to reread them. I lusted after - but couldn’t afford - the Chaosium game books then, and I’m still kicking myself for the time I declined to get them used in the 90’s. (I didn’t have any income at the time...

    Old shows that you enjoy?

No, you must be mistaken. My video collection quite clearly delineates: everything made 1969 or before is categorized as “classic.” Everything from 1970 to present is clearly labeled “modern.” (Guess when I was born?)

    Old shows that you enjoy?

I discovered Peter Gunn in reruns, about 10-15 years ago - and I love it! It’s the best old show I’ve come across this century. Moody, atmospheric, great soundtrack, and sometimes amazing. Alfred Hitchcock Presents is a close second-best discovery. Sometimes directed by Hitchcock, often...
