Hello,

I'm 33 and have been playing some form of D&D since I was around 10. I mostly play 2nd and 3rd Ed. D&D and Pathfinder. I mostly get the task of creating and running the games because the people I know that play are, quite simply, too lazy to do that part.

My gaming time is not limited so much as I have a desire for consistency. I consider a gaming group a commitment, and therefore have little tolerance for repeated cancellations. It's everybody's group, and when people don't show up it makes for a bad time for everyone else.

I have been taking online classes for almost 8 years, and I am about to begin my second master's degree. So... I am always busy with something. That is one reason I am so picky about commitment to gaming groups. Everyone is sacrificing something else to be there. Another reason is that I grew tired of groups that cannot take the game at least somewhat seriously years ago. I don't like to not progress week after week.

Hopefully that doesn't make me sound stuck up or anything. I just want to have a good time playing :)
