I have used the deck of many things before and found it lacking in imagination. Does anyone have a deck that they have created they would like to share? I like to have a mixture of both helpful and harmful cards in the deck. I have made one deck that had 52 cards in it. It was fun to use!
My wife and I recently have broke from the group we were playing with to start our own. The group had grown to the point that a half hour battle was taking over two hours to play out. We have started another group in Lake Park, MN and are looking for a few people who would like to join us...

the forest has more monsters that the pc are used to. The river could be the deciding factor. If there is no bridge and the pc are low level falling into the river could be the end for them if they cannot swim. I would most likely take the forest just for the feeling of knowing what to...
I love the rod of wonder! It can be funny and helpful at the same time! There was a time I accidently killed a orc when he tried to bite me and I hit the button and a whirlwind exploded in his mouth.
I loved playing a monk at low level. You don't have to worry about AC as much because of the wisdom as well. The flurry of blows does cause a little bit of trouble at first. I played an elf monk and thought she turned out great. I played her into epic level and she was kickass in upper levels.
