An intrusion from real life... The cleric who fell to her doom was played by the DM's wife. Yes, folks, this guy's so tough he killed off his wife's character in the very first session!

There's little that's more fun than knowingly walking into a trap, which, as I recall, is what happened at the asylum! Unknowingly doing so only adds to the adrenaline rush, of course... but we don't talk about when that happened to Edward and me.
