Writer and gamer living in the Pacific Northwestern United States. My first tabletop RPG was given to me by my older brother in the early eighties. It's the original digest sized 1st edition (not first printing, but hey) 3 volume set by Gygax & Arneson, along with all of the supplements (Greyhawk; Blackmoor; Eldritch Wizardry; Gods, Demigods, & Heroes; and Swords and Spells).
My favorites back then, besides D&D, went on to include Top Secret, Twilight 2000, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Other Strangeness. A stint in the military and other life obligations separated me from RPGs for a number of years. These days I'm a 5th Edition fan and working on my own campaign.
