i understand that but does using str make sense to you for a magic touch attack? what is he applying his str to? to me dex makes more sense but the book doesn't support that. Wonding if their was something i missed or a reason for str to be used that i wasn't thinking of.

The way we have rolled is the standard roll 4 drop lowest but, when you are done with all of your stats you take your lowest stat and make it an 18. Also we do a trade off system where you and drop one stat by 2 points to raise another stat by 1 point. so if you rolled 8, 14, 12,12, 12, 12...

It would seem to me a touch attack to release a spell like shocking grasp or Imprisonment would be BAB+Dex+any other modifiers. But i can't find anywhere in the book where it sais it would be DEX instead of STR. It makes no sense at all for the check to be strength based i just wanted to see...

Say their are 20 first level cleric spells (their arnt i'm just using it for an example) you would roll a d20 and that is one of the spells you know. You don't get to choose the 4 you want or anything your roll them. same for every spell caster
