I wish they would do a silver edition of this like Rime. That one had most of what I wanted at the 175$ price point. 400+ just think I could ever spend that much
I don't think it looks dated, but then again I have never been one that follows the trends and decides if things are good or bad depending on what is currently in style. I think the art from TSR from this era is the best (Elmore, Parkinson, Easley) and IMO d&d art has been downhill ever since.
I'm in for the core rules and starter set. The shire in the starter being lighter of theme is perfect for me to run my boys through it. I am still a bit unsure if the new core book will replace the 1e book that I have or can just be additional information and rules changes.i assume if it's...
Yep this. I suspect as well there is a SJW agenda going after this con as it is in Texas and SJW groups hate anyone who doesn't "agree with them". I had an experience at a private game where a certain person and I didn't agree about religion and her take was basically I was a bigot and shouldn't...
Ha, so far about 9. I figured I had to use rewards they would like. I first used chocate coins (and still do a bit) but then crafted a story that all the pokemons had gone missing from the town so they had to go and find them. Since that, their excitement is through the roof; they ask

Fun system. I am running this for my 6 and 4 year olds. They keep asking to play so must be a hit with them. They are on a quest for Pokemon right now;)
Only thing I wish is that it had a level progression system.
Man I love Elmore. No one's art invokes as much wonder for me as his does. It's the main thing that got me to buy the box when I was a kid.
The dragon is looking at the wizard of course as he knows she is about to unleash magical hell on him.
I don't know if I like this better than the...
That could be a function of geography as well as finding like minded people in your town is much harder then anywhere in the world. Would be interesting to see numbers for comparison. I think both can exist. (Online virtual and tabletop)
Not sure is virtual is the future. I know many Including myself that like getting away from technology and just having face to face tabletop time. Take that away and I will probably just play a video game.
I would like to see a forum and some digital character builder and some DM tools though.
I would pay for seperat map printing but the question is cost. Might prefer they just include the files to print myself...But maybe I could do that by just enlarging from the pdf. The point is to be able to get a nice copy for less cost than originals on eBay.
I noticed they have 4e Hammerfast but the fold out map is included inside the book. I would prefer the larger foldable map to lay on the table. Is it much harder to print that? I wonder if all older mods that include a map will be this way.
