    Beating the old bag

I've ran a minimum of 2,5K every day for 338 days in a row now. I really do love running B-) I've also been a bit more mindful about what I eat, and when. I call it the 7-7 Diet: physical activity seven days a week, and eat properly seven days a week..

    Renewals and Cancellations 2015

Quite quickly after this announcement the 'Net was full of new infos. Looks like (among others?) both Amazon and Netflix may be interested in taking Hannibal into its fourth season. So there is hope for us who like to watch stylish cannibaloid dishes on screen! :D

    Renewals and Cancellations 2015

I agree. I actually felt that this last season was more like Ye Olde Days, somehow. Anyway, I enjoyed season 10 more than the last couple ones.

D&D 2E Are all my 2E books worthless now?

And, I just feel the strong urge to chime in: 2nd edition stuff is really useful now in the 5e era. I have a similar experience as you, and I did some well spent time in the attic a week ago and dug up all the 2nd edition books and boxes. I mainly focused on FR back then, and that stuff is...

This is a highly relevant and current question for me! I voted "Theatre of mind", but for the first time in 35 years I've started contemplating using minis in D&D! We'll see: maybe I'll start using minis..

[June 2015] What are you reading?

I never read anything by Ed Greenwood before, so I started reading Spellstorm by him. I'm approx 1/3 into in by now. Not sure it'll be my fav book ever, but still, I get a lot of Realms goodies to use when DMing.. :D In parallel I am finishing reading Cirkeln by Mats Strandberg and Sara...

    D&D 5E Why does 5E SUCK?

I was going to reply Nothing, but then I remembered Sunday's session.. I had six people over for an introduction to RPG:s in general, and D&D 5th in particular. So, I opted for using the Basic Rules posted on WotC site (so everyone had the opportunity to read/browse in advance, without buying...

What aspect of geek culture does not resonate with you?

I think I have a few geekness activities that doesn't resonate too well with me, so I picked this one, just so I don't get too long-winded.. :D Board games. I wasn't a gamer per se when I discovered RPGs in the spring of 1980. After a short while in my new found gaming world, I of course...

Well, it's a rough situation for bots (and bot wannabes) but I welcome the restrictions!
