The awkward thing is the table has entries where the possibility of provoking an AoO is "Maybe", not just "Yes and "No".

You provoke one AoO for every threatened square you move out of. The AoO occurs before you manage to move out of the square. Well, in the table Actions in Combat, it says Full-Attack does not provoke AoO, but in this case I am not sure... I guess each attack is considered a separate ranged...

It has not changed. The AoO rules specifically state it has to be a Melee attack. Also, the definition of a threatened square is one you can currently make a melee attack with the weapon you are holding in hand. If you only have non-melee weapons in hand, you don't threaten any square at all.

Doesn't this resemble Restore Cleric or Druid Spell Powers from the Atonement spell? Read the spell description, as that may serve as a guideline. My opinion is: It should cost XP to the cleric that is converting to a different faith, and that cost should depend on the cleric's level.
