Bought some more Chessex Dice, Translucent Prism set (CHX23099), cos they looked funky even though I already have waaaaay too man y dice that I'll never use. Plus, I also found a copy of L2: Tomb of the Lizard King to add to my collection of older D&D stuff that I had lost years ago.

Yeah, Mwangi Expanse is a brilliant read. But yeah, all the Lost Omens books are super lore filled and good fun.

I like to insert "intermediate" biome hexes between vastly different hex boundaries, eg: swamp one side, desert the next, but in between is a zone full of quicksand and mangrove like succulents with the associated beastie that might like that kind of environ.
