The Warlock Paragon Path, Doomsayer (PHB pg 140), gets an ability called Doomsayer's Proclamation at 11th level. The ability reads as follows:
"Enemies within 10 squares of you must roll 2 dice when rolling saving throws against fear effects. They must use the lower of the two rolls."
To me...
When does a creature start getting saving throws against a Sustained Power effect?
An example:
Vek, a 5th level warlock, uses Curse of the Bloody Fangs (PHB pg 134) on an Orc Chieftain. As of the Chieftain's turn, Vek has not tried to sustain the power, so does the Chieftain get a save versus...
Anyone know where I can get a PDF of the "official" 4th edition character sheet (without any crappy borders)? WotC doesn't seem to have put one up on their site.
Thanks in advance.
The bull rush rules are hidden on pg 65 of the Adventure Book.
Bull Rush: Make a strength vs. Fortitude attack. If the attack succeeds, push the target one square and move into the vacated space.
I browsed through some of the threads and didn't find these answers. If I missed them I apologize.
1: The cleric's healing strike power has a bonus of +3 to hit, which I am assuming (perhaps erroneously) is +WIS to hit. Shouldn't he get +5 to hit (+3 from WIS and +2 from weapon prof. with a...
I went to my local Borders and found, as many of you appear to have, that KotS was indeed on the shelf (3 copies). I didn't buy one and this kind of makes me mad. How are local small comic and gaming shops like the ones I've been going to for years supposed to deal with stuff like this. I know...
I've played and DMed games both with and without XP rewards in 2e, 3e, and 3.5. Here are a few of the reasons I like them:
-They help keep the group from responding to everything with a quip and to take the game more seriously. This keeps the game on topic and running smoothly.
-They give the...
We know from earlier sources (like the orc preview) that the RAW state that ANY missed attack deals NO damage to a minion and any hit that deals damage kills them. The people you quoted were debating a houserule, as some people think that if a party member uses a daily power that minions should...
If thats all it limits, I'll be a happy camper. I just don't want to see cool utility items go the way of the dodo because someone doesn't want to give up any potential beatdown power. As log as you can use fun, versatile items without loosing your ability to kick butt, I'll be ok with the system.
I'm not a real big fan of this. If you want to use cool items that aren't really powerful the fact that your limited to how much you use kind of sucks. If I'm a level 20 rogue who wants to swing rooftop to rooftop with a rod of ropes, I should be able to do it regardless of my use of a flaming...
