Well Partner, you haven't convinced me to leave the weird west with yer promises of frontier adventuring that can easily be done with a poker deck, some good old gumption and a sidewinder of violence against the forces of evil.

I'll stick to ad&d edition. many adventures, tales, background info, lore, a MM that isn't cut in half. I would say wotc tried, but they just mass-market trash these days.

AD&D 2e, is where my D&D stops. I always loathed things like feats, the elimination of importance of AC and many other things.

I bought 6e corebook, and 4 starter sets... the starter sets was so I could get 4 sets of those beautiful d6 dice in the box. then I tossed the rest of the box out because it was literal trash. just like the rest of 6th edition. Now mind you, its really the mechanics of the whole new system...

So its 0616 system and marvel is egotistical enough that the statlines spell out marvel, and they want you to pay for a playtest. I'm going to go give my money to Modephius

Well, I think it is a safe bet to say Avatar Legends is the most anticipated game of 2022. the success of it alone is a huge indicator in my books, along with Mothership 1E. how can you not love a little boxed set like classic DnD.

Yup, I use meta easter eggs all the time in my games. I also use a lot of movie scenes as easter eggs as well. I especially love Pulp Fiction easter eggs in my game.
