I agree that the samurai could be a subclass of a fighter, Ninja a subclass of a thief, Elementalist (wu-jen) could be a subclass of a wizard. Basialy I'd just like to see them officially released. I'd still like to see an official Ratling race.

I have played in the same world which I created my senior year of high school back in 1989. I have updated it here and there over the years but basically the same world. I don't see much reason to change it. The being said there is a part of me that says new edition new game world.

I am not a huge fan of splat books or all the class specific books (some people are and that's fine) but I am a huge fan of oriental themes. That is one book I wouldn't mind seeing even if they did it as an adventure league type book with a players guide that introduces new races, classes...

OK still a little hung up on old 3.5 OA for stepping up to someone with reach. Since that is now gone I can see your point. However the action does pretty much the Polearm master feat useless.

I could be just me as I am waiting for all the books to come out before we start playing 5th, however this seems really really good. Almost feat good. Like I said I have not played 5th yet just taking the time to read through the rules.

I think it's just the word disengage that is throwing me off. Thanks to everyone that answered my questions.

What about using the disengage action to move through multiple opponents threat ranges and still not provoking an AO?

Ok so do not really have to disengage (ie move away).

OK maybe I am missing something but one of the guys in my game group is saying with Disengage action you can move right up to any creature without triggering any Opportunity Attacks and then use bonus actions to attack. Am I missing something?
