Apparently D&D is very serious business in Kansas. I am intrigued and curious why you guys are looking to try so many different games. Also I'm not in Kansas but private chef? Awesome. Will you pay travel expenses? ;)

This sounds wonderful, I have a request though, when you finish combining the two can you make a proper openoffice version of the char sheet? Nothing in the excel version seems to work properly in openoffice for me :(

I guess D&D really does appeal to some of us socially challenged types, because the only reason i got into a face to face game was cause my wife basically FORCED me to. She found a meeting, she signed up and took me with her. Once i started though I was hooked and no social hangup could stop me.

nope, im looking forward to the next session. I hope more people can get used to using voicechat though, its just not the same game when everything is typed. Also I hope we get more opportunity to RP, because it cant all be about combat.

Cloud of Daggers does more overall damage than magic missile if you have +2 or more wisdom modifier. It also is a garaunteed minion kill even if you miss the initial attack. It can be combo'd so that you can knock enemies into it for extra damage.

Im sorry to say that my friend will not be joining us after all. I guess he just changed his mind and doesn't want to play after all. I will be there tonight however, looking forward to playing

Starting at level 1 is good, makes character creation a little bit easier for everyone whos playing for the first time.
