The roll20 character sheet defualts to wisdom so we used wisdom for a good year before i read the part about it being the DMs call. At that point we all agreed hey we have been using wisdom for this long lets just stick with it. Idk if that counts as a house rule.
Our GM lets us hold a number of inspiration equal to our PB so hoarding inspiration wasn't a thing for us. It was just the fact that we had one player who's destiny was constantly providing benefits every single session while the rest of us had ours come up so few. It didn't mater if it provided...
We had a player in our Game with excellence and it definitely came up every single session they were in. Where as everyone elses destiny came up made 3-4times. DM said had they known it would be like this they probably wont have let them take it.
I think the intent is you are supose to completely lose anything you get from your heritage. You can work with your DM on improving it. It didn't come up in my campaign but my thing was do you lose the humanoid type in wild shape?
Honestly most beast have Dark vision anyway, also a few class...
I was looking to do more a a mixture between a combat medic and Tesshu Fujioka. Some one whos healing others with out magic and but also who has combat efficiency due to knowledge of anatomy.
I'd agree, honestly considering it burns not only a limited resource, But also your reaction i actually think its pretty mean to require them to declare it preroll
Considering its a reaction and the trigger for the reaction is "when you make an attack" I don't see why it would have to be before you see your roll. Dm interpretation always supercedes but seem RAW to me you don't need to declare it.
Idk i would have read it as you already added the bonus effect so getting it again doesn't add the bonus. Thats why some things are worded add damage equal to your proficiency bonus instead of add your proficiency bonus to damage so it can stack with proficiency. No benefits from the same...
Id say you can definitely take it more than once. Every thing else with that restriction literally says you can only take once unless otherwise stated.
So if your DM is a RAW guy/girl then you should be able to take it more than once. I would direct them to the berserker's furious critical...
Please more heritages, I was so heart broken we didn't get more small size ones (really want a void runners version of skittermander).
P.S. yall cooked with this book🔥🔥🔥🚀🚀
