Well on the one hand their are other characters still able to fight so they shouldnt....I mean they're not of any harm. Unless there's a cleric so maybe they would. But suppose they all go down..........what do the gnolls do? Eat them? Rob them? Sacrifice them in an overly elaborate ritual...

Which begs the question do you end your campaigns of D&D "early" and conclude them at X level or....do you just see how far the party can get even if they do reach "high" level? That aside if a PC were to die at 20th or 18th level....they'd be pretty unique in the campaign world, if they did...

I'm liking what I'm reading but some things just bug me. No variable crit multipliers and threat range on weapons? :erm: No creatures larger than Gargantuan? No huge spells like the old Gate? In regards to the first two I am wondering if they might print some more optional rules.

Does anyone know what they are, the passage doesnt seem clear to me. The table doesnt give DCs in it, though it gives for example Blue Draconic ancestry, and says its a Dex save. But where does the save come from? Is it based on the Dragonborn's CON, or is it based on the same stat? So...
