WOIN NEW - Effects of Zero-G on untrained PCs

Yeah, I hear what you say. I think that one initial AGI DC10 check (the three affected PCs have 2, 3, and 4d6 in AGI) to get their bearings - allowing a retry every round if needed - then they are okay to move at 1/2 speed and with 1 action... I do want to underline the difficulty of working in...

WOIN NEW - Effects of Zero-G on untrained PCs

Are you referring to NEW pp183-184? Yeah, I read that and wasn't sure how it applied to untrained people - as it says, you have to remember Newtonian physics... but my point is, untrained PCs would not know how to do the whole walk on ceilings/walls/etc., hence my thought to force an AGI check...

WOIN NEW - Effects of Zero-G on untrained PCs

Hi - about to start a SciFi game and, in the first encounter, the PCs are suddenly put in Zero G. This is fine for those PCs (two of the five) that have astronaut training (Spacewalker exploit), but what would be the effect - game mechanically - on the three "ground grippers"? My initial...

    WOIN WOIN and Roll20

Wow! That seems like a fair amount to do... Wish I could help but I don't have the technical skills. :(

    WOIN WOIN and Roll20

Yep - found them when I was playing around in Roll20 yesterday B-)... What editing needs to be done (not a techie here!)?

    WOIN WOIN and Roll20

My upcoming campaign sits between NOW and NEW and, as I have a PC that has Psionics, I'm using the NEW character sheet. Brian, is this character sheet v1.2 compatible? How can I find it?

    WOIN WOIN and Roll20

I've looked on Roll20 and cannot find anything for WOIN. Is anyone using Roll20 for WOIN?? I use Roll20 all the time for my 5E campaigns and I'd like to use it for WOIN given the tactical / map-based combat approach. Is there a v1.2 compatible character sheet anywhere out there (I can't find one)?

    WOIN What the attributes mean

In NOW, there's a table that gives some descriptions of what STR, AGI, LOG, and REP represent at each dice level - example, 2d6 is "average". Is there a table out there somewhere that has all the attributes so described?

    WOIN Max dice pools

I do like the +2d6 == +1 houserule and I think I'll pick that up for my game - thanks!

    WOIN Max dice pools

That's what I thought from reading... Thanks for confirming!

    WOIN Max dice pools

I understand that the mechanism for defining a maximum dice pool is based on the Grade is Attribute + Skill + Equipment (and that there are some factors that can add/subtract dice but these are not included in the Grade cap). Q1. For skill checks, I assume any excess dice (Attribute + Skill)...

WOIN [WOIN] Called Shots in combat

Yep - I get the logic on the first three but I think I will house-rule that Disarm is vs Ranged/Melee Defense (unless, of course, the weapon is a natural one :p). Thanks again!

WOIN [WOIN] Called Shots in combat

Hmmm... okay, I can see that for Move, Knock-Down, or Disable, but Disarm? However, the logic makes sense - thanks for the prompt response!

WOIN [WOIN] Called Shots in combat

Hi Just re-re-reading the combat rules ready for our next playtest session and I got to Called Shots and I got confused a bit... I understand the 2d6 penalty to hit but can you explain why, given I'm making a ranged attack, that I make it against VITAL and not RANGED Defense? I understood that...

    WOIN [WOIN] Skill descriptions

Yep - got those included in my Excel worksheet... So I guess this is also the case for: Foresight (M&RD), Meditiation - Bravery - Discipline - Conviction (MentalD), Fortitude - Resistance (VitalD), and Hardy (Health). In other words (and a little broad-brush, I know), these are "skills" that...
