Having to consult the Fighter packet to play an Adept is unhelpful design.
Having to calculate a central resource when an existing column could give me the number instead is unhelpful design.
Love the work, looks cool. Strength for AC is a great idea. I a few complaints about exertion points:
How do I regain exertion points?? There is nothing written about regaining them on a rest! The only thing I see is that I can battle meditate to get 1d4 once per rest. Is that it??

I noticed this too... Pack tactics is too strong. Sure, kobolds in 5e get it, but they also have sunlight sensitivity.
Plus, pack tactics isn't part of the heritage, it's part of the culture, so any heritage can claim it! This one should be toned down, definitely.
I would like to see optional replacements or changes to core abilities to change the feel of the character.
Examples:
Rogues could give up one or more of their sneak attack dice for another combat ability
Paladins could give up smites for another divine ability
