I first discovered D&D through an incredible game a lot of you have played as well: Baldur's Gate. That Dragon intro was so cool! That's what made me look into RPGs and down the rabbit hole I went. Since then, my love has never faltered.

I was 14 years old when I played D&D for the first time. It was a school group with a nerdy teacher who opened his class during lunch time so like minded folks could meet. I started as a human cleric in a 3.5 setting. I will always remember my first game.

Fast forward to college I got to meet incredible friends and amazing players. We had a blast with the 4th edition. I experienced my first homebrew world where I played a Longtooth Shifter cleric. What a tank she was. Then I played a druid hamadryad in Dark Sun. Unfortunately, we never for to finish the campaign, like so many others! How many loved character sheets are abandonned in my keepsake box? Way too many... Getting nostalgic now!

Then came the 5th edition. A breath of fresh air. For me, it was a return to my roots. Steamlined, clear, less technical. I love love love it. I am currently a DM in a homebrew campaign. I have great players who come every week. It's awesome, but I need more. It's like an addiction. A beautiful one.
