Into The Wyrd And Wild Makes The Woods Weird

I highly recommend this book. It is honestly the best rpg supplement I have ever bought. I tend to use and reference it a lot in all the games I host, independent of whether it is D&D or another system. Especially in horror games.

Vote For The Most Anticipated RPG of 2024!

I look forward to second edition Urban Shadows. It has been quite a wait, but the previews have been looking excellent.

Philadelphia by Night Brings the 1800s to Vampire: The Masquerade

I am not 100% sure, but I think it is. In the article it says the "4th edition of Vampire the Masquerade", which I think is the 20th Anniversary edition. As there have been, as far as I know, now five editions: 1st and 2nd edition, Revised (3rd edition), 20th Anniversary edition (which would be...

Philadelphia by Night Brings the 1800s to Vampire: The Masquerade

I'm excited to check this out. I miss the old White Wolf/Onyx Path vampire products. The fact that this looks so professional and tries to mimic their style and quality, sounds exciting.

Paizo Paizo Pricing Update, New Releases, War of Immortals Playtest Wrap-Up, Partnerships

I wish I could get enthousiastic about the War of Immortals book too, but it doesn't do it for me yet.

    Paizo Unveils Two New Classes

I was thinking the exact same thing. Given how much I liked both the Binder and Incarnum from D&D 3.5, I do look to these with interest.

D&D General What's The Practically Complete Guide to Dragons?

Maybe I am getting old (aren't we all?), but these days I am actually more interested in material like this, no-mechanics, just fluff. I know this is meant for younger players, but I loved the no-rules books that came out at the end of 4e. They are among my favorite D&D book ever.

Pathfinder 2E Pathfinder To Get New Core Rulebooks Soon

I dislike the name. If a new player, totally new to the hobby, looks at these books. Something like "Player Core" or "DM Core" is very vague and meaningless. Only someone really used to D&D knows what "core rulebooks" actually means.

Critical Role Announces Two New RPGs

If they manage to actually create something new, not just another D&D knock-off fantasy Heartbreaker, this could be succesfull. Like others have pointed out, there is an audience and a market for games played in the style of Critical Role and the D&D rules system doesn't really work well for...

Black Flag So What's In Kobold Press' BLACK FLAG First Playtest?

I like this, but wish they would also look af Fantasy Age from Green Ronin for inspiration. I really like how Fantasy Age does racial features, chosing two out of a list, and making half-breeds so nearly fit into this.

Marvel Multiverse RPG Brought Forward & New X-Men Expansion

I’m not certain what type of audience they are trying to appeal to with the ruleset. It felt very much like a computer game witg the progression trees for all the different abilities. It seemed a lot more easy to simulate a certain comic book character than to easily create your own (which fo be...

    D&D Movie/TV Here Come The D&D Movie Gaming Tie-Ins!

I really don't understand how they can have so little and such bad marketing products for this. You would think they would sell miniatures of the main characters of the movie, tie-in starter sets etc. Anything else for the game. This seems really lazy and they only use two concept art pieces...
