[Halmae] Our Party Picked a Name! Full story inside!

I voted for Divine Right, but "The Gnome Pimpers" sounds better to me. :)

Shackled City Epic: "Vengeance" (story concluded)

More Thanks I would like to add my thanks as well. This SH has started off my work day (or every other work day) for the past 6 months or so. I was so caught up in the story that I couldn't wait to see how it ended. Now that it has, I'm ready for more! Thanks LB!

Piratecat's Updated Story Hour! (update 4/03 and 4/06)

Amazed, Exhausted, Exhilirated, and Perhaps, just a bit, in Love I just finished reading this thread. It took about two weeks during breaks at work, etc. What a fantastic story hour. Compelling characters, a ton of plots, and fantastic imagery. My only question: what to do now? :D

Shackled City Epic: "Vengeance" (story concluded)

LB - Fantastic story. It took me a month of reading (at work, shame on me) and I'm devastated that I've caught up. What am I going to do now? Actual work? ;-) BTW, I'm one of the Zenna fans!

Why _DON'T_ You Buy Dragon Magazine?

This pretty much sums everything up for me. I still subscribe but I'm not sure I'm going to renew. I'll definitely keep my Dungeon subscription, though. Thanks Erik!

Why Won't Some People Play Spellcasters?

The reasons that I've heard most often for not playing a spellcaster is "D&D is a small part of my life." In general the people that have said that to me don't spend much, if any, time outside of game sessions thinking about the game. For these folks, the number of rules and options related to...

Most Unusual or Outrageous Character or NPC Names

We decided to create characters and run them through the original S1 - Tomb of Horrors. I was the halfling thief: Hitherto Goodcheddar. I had all kinds of fun with that name: Party introductions: "You will find that I have a gouda sense of humor. Some folks; however, find it to be stilton and...

A different kind of Greyhawk Campaign

I like the idea of the undead kingdom and I'd consider putting it in the sea of dust. Perhaps some Suel liches started this centuries ago, somewhere in a buried city. With no real competition, and no need for the typical requirements of society (food, shelter, etc.) they were able to multiply...

What do you think of Living Greyhawk

My first convention was Gen Con 2000, when 3e was released and Living Greyhawk started. My wife and I spent most of our time playing RPGA games, both Living Greyhawk (LG) and Classics.* I enjoyed the classics far more than the LG games. I'm an old school Greyhawk fan myself, and my home...

    Phantom Fungus

*Some very minor RTTTOEE spoilers below* Funnily enough, I have used one, albeit a modifed version. One of my players mentioned that he thought it was a really silly monster and that he couldn't ever see it being used. So I placed it in the Crater Ridge Mines (Return the the Temple of...

Contingency: use of "or" allowing multiple conditions?

Careful with that Condition If you allow this, and based on the way that condition is worded, the next time that character uses his wand of light (command word) he may activate the contingency.
