    D&D 5E A Christmas Carol Adventure

Howdy all! We have created A Christmas Carol Adventure and put it up on Kickstarter! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/vergegames/a-christmas-carol-adventure About 3 months ago I reached out and asked for some feedback on our project and it was very helpful! I am proud to say that today...

D&D General Death due to old age

Aging is something that always bothered me. Even large campaigns usually only last a few years of in game time. Though I like the idea of using it, unless you do a multi generational campaign it just never really comes up.

D&D General Digital Maps for Roll20

You sir are feeding my crippling cartography addiction. And you are doing the Lord's work.

Critical Role Wendy’s sponsoring Critical Role?

This is the most bizarre marketing since the old spice D&D "Gentleman" Class

D&D General How did you deal with Command: "Blaspheme!"?

LOL wow that's a spell I had never heard of before. I do want to play something that declares someone excommunicate. Preferably John Wick

D&D 5E Paladin oath. What constitutes willingly breaking your oath/code?

Paladin's oaths and Lawful Good. Always so much fun. I don't think there is a single other class that consistently shows the desire to set out and do the right thing. And then immediately smashes that desire up against reality. Questions like this never seem to go away. I am quite...

Sensitivity Writers. AKA: avoiding cultural appropriate in writing

That is a fair point, and is the reason for this thread in the first place. I fear that the intensity of the accusation against potential offenders is having an undesired effect. I myself love to write as well, and there is a lot of work that you have to do and balance. Adding onto that the...

Unpopular Opinion: People Shouldn't Review Adventures They Haven't Run

People looking at your article 5 years from now doesn't help them grow their channel today. I totally want those in-depth reviews. It is hard to figure out what module is actually good. How was Saltwater Marsh? Who knows? Reading the module seems like the only thing anyone has time for.

Sensitivity Writers. AKA: avoiding cultural appropriate in writing

I can see what you mean by that. But like you said its a point of substantive negative feedback. Like you mention sometimes those voices are ignored, but the opposite can also be true. And a few voices can be amplified (especially with the internet o_O). How can an individual know the truth...

Sensitivity Writers. AKA: avoiding cultural appropriate in writing

I see what you mean, but how can anyone tell those apart? Like in the example, no one gave the Japanese approval to get interested in animation. And America didn't get approval to like anime. I suppose it could be said that its an exchange as neither of them complained about the other liking...

Unpopular Opinion: People Shouldn't Review Adventures They Haven't Run

Previews not reviews are a really good idea. Unfortunately I think anyone out there reviewing these things are mostly at the mercy of the search algorithms. And if they want to stay relevant they must talk about a module while it is still "hot". And I am betting the word review is more search...
