    Do You Want Immersive Roleplay?

    I've been thinking lately that immersive experiences are what I'm after in RPGs. For me, feeling like I'm a character in another world is probably my favourite thing. What are the the most immersive sessions you've had and why? Do you want deep immersion or not?

    Dread is also great. You've never seen players so invested in the outcome of a situation before. The tower becomes The Tower, and people treat it like a slumbering god. You'll hear cries of "Don't bump the table!" and "Whoa, whoa, whoa!"

    40) Don't make plots, make NPCs with goals. Give your NPCs a goal or a set of goals and always have them working towards those goals as if the PCs didn't exist. This will make the players feel like there is a living world around them and they will want to get involved.
