Chances are you don't want me in your game because you aren't hardcore enough to handle it...
As a rules lawyer, I quote esoteric rules from memory and when you don't obey them, I brutally punish you by mercilessly taking advantage of your own house rules! I give GMs nightmares.
As a role-player, I don't break character for the whole gaming session even after everyone else has. I also refer to my character by his name rather than using "I", because ... he's not me! Does anyone else out there get that?
As a roll-player, I randomly roll my dice while my character isn't doing anything. I declare my attacks before rolling my dice, not after rolling them.
The Princess Bride is the best movie ever. Other movies are good too, but at best they are only ever really close seconds. This includes The Matrix, Star Wars, and LotR. My list of bad movies includes Avatar (or Revenge of the Blue Aliens as I prefer to call it). Starship Troopers was better.
The best TV show is Avatar: The Last Airbender. Yes, it is a cartoon and yes, it IS better than anything else ever shown on television. In fact, are any other TV shows worth mentioning? Oh yeah, Dr. Who.

The best book does not yet exist. It hasn't been written yet. Although, many of the world's sacred texts come in as close seconds. LotR is not that great a read by the way. It is saved from being declared bad only because The Silmarillion was written. From that moment, the boundary between what is bad and what is good was redefined.
