You're limited to 2 magic rings, so no, you couldn't use the protection ring with both of the rings you currently have. Depends how important the sustenance and feather fall are to you, really. And whatever happens, have fun! :D

I've basically run nothing but modules for the past 5 years. In fact, I've run almost entirely APs. In that time I've run Age of Worms, Savage Tide, War of the Burning Sky, Rise of the Runelords and Legacy of Fire.

Actually, the Greater Magic Weapon spell can't bypass any DR other than Magic. I guess they saw that one coming, and decided to head it off at the pass.

It's called out under the specific situations where it applies. Off the top of my head, it's noted on attack rolls (p 178), saving throws (p 180) and CMB checks (p199).

I like the rounds per day mechanic. As far as I can see, it's pretty much a straight improvement for barbarians; the extra flexibility to grants outweighs the slightly reduced number of rounds that they get at any given level. For bards, I'm more on the fence. I like that for both classes it...

Oh lord yes. I think it may be the most well put together roleplaying book I've ever bought, both in terms of how it looks and in terms of the construction quality. I'm extremly impressed with it.

Plus, of course, there's the free hand issue. The paladin needs one hand free to use lay on hands, meaning they can't use a weapon and a large shield while maintaining their ability to lay on hands. It's not much of a mitigating factor, just 1 point of AC, but I just thought I'd mention it.

I can verify that paladin and monk multiclassing restrictions are now gone.
