RPG Crowdfunding News – Starship Warden, Children of Eriu, TABLETOPS & TENTACLES, and more

There is an error in this article. The Starship Warden is for the StarSiege RPG. NOT Metamorphis Alpha as stated. The StarSiege RPG uses the Siege Engine as does Castles & Crusades.

    D&D: The Board Game?

I’m baffled why a mainstream boardgame publisher doesn’t put out a simple dungeon crawler in the same vein as HeroQuest. The only thing that comes close is Mantic’s Dungeon Saga.

5E Looking for Meso American Adventures

4E 4E Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan content

Thank you D'karr! The orginal module came with a double sided poster map. One side is the whole dungeon, the reverse is tactical 1" gridded entrance and one of the dungeon rooms. Dungeon #209 has the dungeon map but not the tactical maps. The tactical maps are used as art is used in the...

4E 4E Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan content

This famous 1978 1st Edition module was updated and converted in 2011 and given away as a D&D Encounters DM reward for running games. It was published in digital form in Dungeon magazine #209 December 2012. Which is still available to those with D&D Insider Subscriptions. Were there maps...

Kickstarter Idea for Minis - shoot me down

I assume these would be 28mm in scale? What is reason for prone? It's an uncommon stance for miniatures other than mg crews. Most characters will dismount for combat as in real life fighting from horseback is a specialized skill.

    pogre's model and figure thread

Belt sander w/ 100 grit upside down in a vice makes short work of reaper broccoli bases. Just take your time. Or you could get an el cheapo dedicated setup from Harbor Freight like this: http://www.harborfreight.com/1-in-x-30-in-belt-sander-60543.html Some guys use dremel cut off wheels and the...

    pogre's model and figure thread

Great thread Pogre. You are a prolific painter at a high quality too. Any tips on removing "broccoli" bases from Reaper Bones miniatures? Are you just sawing them off in one pass with a fine tooth saw?

Make your own Black pudding, Green Slime, Ochre Jelly minis for about $10

I think next I will find a miniature to sacrifice to being consumed by one of these gooey monsters by pouring the molten glue directly onto a finished miniature.

    5E Recommend a 4th Level Module

After a 5 year hiatus from regular 3.5 ed play the release of 5th Edition inspired me to get off my ass and get a campaign going again. We are currently playing a 5E conversion of (dare I say classic?) N1 Against the Cult of the Reptile God. Ozuro on the D&D sub-Reddit did this conversion...
