Started with D&D when a dwarf was a race and a class. Have played every version of D&D since, including 4E currently. Venture into as many game systems as possible. Venture into as many games as possible. Never met a game I wouldn't try.

Favorite rule sets: Legend of the Five Rings 1st Edition, Conan RPG (Mongoose D&D 3.0), Traveller, WhohammaGammaJamma.

Favorite setting: L5R Rokugan, Hyboria, City State of the Invincible Overlord (Judge's Guild), 7th Seas setting, Sigil, Waterdeep

Favorite module: Tegal Manor, S1 Tomb of Horrors, S2 White Plume Mountain

You'll find me playing: A ranger, illusionist, Crab Clan, Dragon Clan, Scout (Traveller), MTG, L5R CCG

D&D 4E Review: Worth playing, focused on combat, not enough role-play, DMG a waist of time, adventures drag out because the combat takes so long, overall a good game.

4E Homebrew: Players choose a build from two classes. This includes the class features. Then player chooses powers from any class that do not have restrictions they can't meet. Most all class restrictions are removed from feats. (They are too specialized now.) Set of skills is provided that include non combat activities. (craft, perform, etc.) Players are allowed training in one of these skills as part of their background package.

1) Never play any rule set right out of the box. It always needs tweaking.
2) Play to have fun. When it's not fun, why play.
