Hey again, Did not get to play Imperial, maybe next week, but got to try Battlestar Galactica. It was a load of fun. I played Thig, started as human but became a cylon in the sleeper phase. Humans won but had 3 resources at 1 ... So close. 2 groups of 6 played & the humans won both games...

My group & me manage to play a game of TI3 in 5 1/2 hours. That includes setting it up, explaining the game to 2-3 newbies, playing the game & finally, putting it all back into the box. If no one has a severe case of AP, it runs pretty smoothly. YMMV Nick 'The Prophet'

Got to spend some Christmas $... Went a bit over the budget but got... - Conquest of the Empire - Imperial - In the Shadow of the Emperor - Modern Art That should keep me busy for a while.

I did not check it out in details at my FLGS but FFG put out a "patch" for the previous black box edition to update it to their edition. Might worth a look depending on the price. It would make your game compatible with the new expansions that are starting to come out.

Went back & read the new rules on FFG & you're right. Now the PC rolls 2D10 vs. a TN. Much easier than the version I've played.
