not a bad idea but have in mind that you'll have a hard time in battle, my best friend is playing a cleric and his best stats are CON and WIS, and he always have a bad time when on the battlefield when it comes to his damage output, so he always tries to use spells more than anything so... best...

i do think most DEX based builds are better if you make a fighter with +5 DEX you get better initiative also also, studded leather+shield gives you a 19 AC, if you take the Defensive fighting style you go up to 20 if you don't take Defensive and go for dueling then you have 1d8(rapier)+5+2 to...

Just for the sake of roleplay i'd go with STR: 8 DEX: 17 (15+2) CON: 14 (13+1) INT: 10 WIS: 12 CHA: 15 (14+1) And then get feats like Elven Accuracy and Actor to raise DEX and CHA, also would get Resilient CON and Tough maybe

agreed on that last part, and yes, Swashbuckler 4 sounds solid actually, and action surge sounds tempting but indomitable... not so much actually

i think that Battlemaster 17/Swashbuckler 3 would be enough for a consistant damage build since the Gloomstalker is just there to give you one more attack and you could get better options for that (like dual weilding)... or you could do Samurai 17/Zealot 3 if you wanna go for less damage and...

i'll go with DEX cause i think is better to have a higher AC than anything else

those look like solid stats that could get better and better with half feats and/or ASIs (good thing the main class for this build is a fighter so you'll be getting lots of those)

loving this idea more and more... i'd still change the assassin for a swashbuckler to get more consistent damage each turn

that's a nice idea but then you'd have to drop the rogue too since you need STR based weapons to deal the extra rage damage

specifically most damage with a sword, i could see a DEX based character so one handed swords mostly
