D&D 5E New WotC Survey! Learn About A New D&D Product!

I was never prompted for an NDA, and only saw questions about the PHB races and a few "where do you get your D&D news" type questions. One oddity, I answered that I was aware of the office Discord, next question I answered that I never used it, then it asked me what I liked about it and a text...

    D&D Movie/TV Check Out Hugh Grant's D&D Movie Costume!

I don't know a lot about Neverember, but from what I've seen, it seems he's not someone for direct confrontation; he's more comfortable operating behind the scenes. I don't see him going head-to-head with the party. Maybe play him straight, and not reveal he's the bad-guy until the 2nd or 3rd movie.

D&D 5E Witchlight Promo Video: Ellywick Tumblestrum

Is there a summary post of the updates? Reading through the thread, it feels like I missed a couple of them.

D&D 5E Witchlight Promo Video: Ellywick Tumblestrum

You're not wrong. Just look at my comment history and you'll see all I want is Spelljammer (with Planejammer being an acceptable compromise) :)

    D&D Movie/TV D&D Movie: 'A Sigh of Relief' & Regé-Jean Page Plays A Paladin

I know I'm quoting your full statement, but this part is odd since every D&D (and every PnP RPG) I've played in have had a dose of comedy - from sarcasm to full-on slapstick

MAZES Fantasy Roleplaying: An Interview With Chris O’Neill (9th Level Games)

We've played a couple of adventures, each being 3 or 4 sessions and no boredom or sameness. We have 6 players with two Boots and two Blades. The characters are as different as can be. There's a few customization points - Aspect (Sorcery, Skills, Swords) kind of a high-level "this is where my...

MAZES Fantasy Roleplaying: An Interview With Chris O’Neill (9th Level Games)

As long as it's something that fits the character's role, a 1 always succeeds. And like you said, depending on the Darkness level (which is largely under the player's control) a 4 may succeed as well. The same holds true for a Bones character trying to succeed on a Books roll. They need to hit...

    D&D General First D&D Character?

Mine was a human MU. I don't think we gave the characters names; the character and the player were interchangeable. Didn't have much fun with that game, the DM didn't really explain any rules, but expected us to know them (hadn't even read the Player's Handbook yet). I didn't play with that...

    TSR Did TSR Sue Regularly?

Yeah, when I heard about the lawsuit, my first thought was "why aren't they suing Palladium?" My group that played back then still talks about the very short campaign we had using DJ - Joss, 7th child of the 7th children, Ultra critical hits (not sure that's what they were called in the game...

D&D General Damage by class instead of by weapon-anyone tried this?

Change the die type by one step down for small weapons and one step up for large weapons

D&D General Gameplay Trailer for D&D Dark Alliance Video Game

It's not just the new D&D crowd that isn't familiar with Dark Alliance. I never heard of it until people mentioned it in this thread.

    D&D 5E 3 Classic Settings Coming To 5E?

I love Spelljammer and am lukewarm at best towards Planescape (well, other than the art, the artwork is among my favorite) and I think this is the best way how to handle it. Replace Wildspace with the Astral Plane and require the use of portal keys to enter other planes. It would be easy to...

D&D 5E The New Drow Replacement?

    Sounds similar to the Arcane

D&D Movie/TV Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith Join D&D Movie

I think if these are missing, more people would wonder what the title is about then would wonder if there was a magic train in it.
