I am copying this from my RPG-Meetup page, as it is the most apt information:
My teen sons, Gavin and Kieran, and I are going to be looking for a new group of players soon, I think; closer to Fountain, if possible. I am a 28 year player & GM, starting with D&D.
These are the games I have played/run and are willing to do, again:
I am, again, a long-time gamer, and a full decade less as long a GM. I would play Warhammer Fantasy 2nd Edition, not 3rd, though I've also run it in the recent past. I run a PbF of Shadow Games (aka Millennium's End) but I would love to play, and one for Warhammer, since 2003. I would love to play more than run anything, such as Earthdawn, Torg, Aliens, and even some Palladium Games. Except for Shadow Games (my version of Millennium's End) I am tired of running games, and would really enjoy playing. The type of GM I am seeking is intelligent, attentive, and not pushy or absolute; it is just so not fun to be pushed in a direction because the GM is incapable of intelligently involving the party in his/her plan.
Other games I might be interested in playing/running:
Since I did this in the previous block, how about I tell you what neither I, nor my sons, are willing to play. No Warhammer FRP 3rd Edition and will play absolutely nothing by White Wolf. I don't believe in playing evil guys, or monsters, as good, no matter how "misunderstood" they may be, because they're still evil. My sons and I are willing to try out AD&D and 3.5, no 4, and maybe Next when it comes out, and we're keen to try Pathfinder, now. I am no averse to running games, but my game set is limited, I'm afraid, as to what I prefer to run, but I will if no one else is interested in running a game. I'm happy to play something I don't know -D&D, Pathfinder- and shut my pie-hole to it.
Please describe your availability to play games (days/times, frequency, etc).
Friday evenings and nights, Saturday afternoons through nights, and Sunday in the afternoons only. I would love to get into something that is several hours on Friday and/or Saturday at least twice a month. The boys also have CCGs they would like to play, and we have small collections for World of Warcraft, BattleTech, and Magic, each a larger Star Wars, and larger still Star Trek CCG collection, though it's been quite a long time since last we played. We don't have a problem taking periodic breaks from role-playing, though that is our preferred activity. If there are 14+ year old teens wherever we play, and they're not interested in playing, my youngest would be a good friend, as he prefers to make friends rather than game with OOOLLLLDDDDD people; his words, not mine, hehe.
Please describe your roleplaying style (casual, narrative, competitive, tactical, etc):
I want to build a role-playing character, regardless of system -I'm willing to provide examples-, crawl into that character for several hours over a weekend day, and cooperate in telling a good story for the amusement of all at the table. I am a role-player, not a roll-player, and I see no place in a group for more than the average of snarks and complaints at a table, as with my former role-playing group. I have been, whether as a player or a GM, beaten over the head with insults, with a lack of role-playing, with snarkiness and disrespect, and I would prefer to join a group that is steadfast, bordering on hardcore, and interested in playing stories and becoming friends. If I can find myself in a group like this, perhaps I can get my role-playing side back. A GM, after all, should take a break, periodically, to be a player, again, to get back what they've not used in some time.
Do you have any deal breakers? (severe allergies, no smoking, no drinking, no children, no Irish, etc. etc.):
Some swearing is alright, but amazing and unnecessary amounts are not. Players who continually try to force their faith or religion on anyone -even with my being a Christian-, meaning mostly people who want to purport their brand of evil for the group, Christians need to keep it down, as well, unless it's an all Christian group. Players who are constantly playing on their cell phones, iPhones, laptops, instead of paying attention to the game, and disrespecting the GM. We're there to game, so please be there? A room full of smokers or alcoholics; I will have my sons with me, and I don't want them around that. Players who utilize overt sexual references constantly. In short, I want to be part of a good group, and I want the same for my sons, of people who are actually there to have a good time and role-play, not treat me, my kids, or the GM like garbage, and who don't act like buffoons all the time.

Additional Information:
"On my web site, I list the games I prefer, in order from most to least favorite, and then go through and open each of those games up, further. I am presently (2/18/12) running Warhammer, though I've left Millennium's End up for future play."
