On page 438, it spells out basic action economy, mentioning an action, a bonus action, and free actions on your turn and a reaction at any time. I don't see it get into specifics, like when your reaction returns. Top of a round or turn is a debate I've seen.
Opportunity attacks are explained on...
I think this "Feat for a Heritage Gift" sounds like an idea for a beefy GPG article, if not a "Special Issue". My take from this is that Paragons would simply become a level 10 feat option? Maybe as part of their own feat chains in some places?
As for this name thing I also hope it doesn't...
That's valid. I suppose I should have said the A5E core rules. But the weapon chart in VRC clearly defines which weapons fall in those categories. The core rule weapon chart does not. Next we could try to say a hand crossbow is a "light" crossbow because it weighs less.
I agree 2024 handles it...
I really believe the weapon lists are much more specific. No where else do the rules group weapons in that fashion. Simple, martial, and rare are the only terms that encompass multiple weapon proficiencies.
Polearm Master (O5E) had this same issue that Polearm Savant (A5E) fixed. Without the...
As the mushrooms wither, they would do nothing to enhance the muscles they have intertwined with.
A dead parasite integrated with one's nervous system is more likely to cause harm than good.
As I see it, curing the disease kills the parasite and the body's own systems would destroy any...
I would definitely say yes. The description of each stage explains how the parasite causes the beneficial properties. When cured, the "infestation withers away" which doesn't sound like it could enhance any ability scores.
However, if a permanent poison and disease immunity could be so easily...
Answering your question, yes. Picking up the Steel Protector feat at Herald 4 / Fighter 4 (non-casting subclass) does make it unusable for Character level 8.
As for being an oversight, it feels like it is. The whole build is a little impractical, 9 is a late level to get extra attack. But also...
Or allow it to be upcast. Adding 1 AC per spell level puts it under your projected, but also cuts down on needing to "learn" and/or "know" another spell.
I think one thing is being overlooked for all of this, the Strength requirement. The -10 speed is arguably worth the trade for a spellcaster, but just restricting the training unless the character meets the requirement avoids the afore mentioned 10 STR Wizard from training in Plate.
I also...
