Thanks, guys. I appreciate your responses. In the interest of full disclosure, my wife and I are expecting our first child very soon, so I won't be able to put together or join a group right away. I'm mostly shaking the tree to see how many people in the area are interested in the older games...

Thanks. We have Myriad Games and Double Midnight Comics here in Manchester, but I haven't seen a Table Top Arena. Still, posting at my local stores is a good idea.

Looking for players in southern NH interested in either B/X D&D or 1e AD&D. Frequency of gaming to be determined by group interest. I'd love to run or play in a campaign comprised of some of the old modules from back in the day. Respond here or PM me if interested.

Nothing to be sorry about. I look forward to seeing what happens after the holidays, once we all have more time, and possibly more players. For the record, though, Knute's going to eat the meat pie the serving wench brought him before it gets cold! :)

Knute orders as many meat pies as required to feed three people.

Knute tries to get the serving girl's attention. "Good morning, lass," he says. "Three pints of ale to wash the dust away, please. And what's good to eat here?"

I said Knute might tip him on the way out. Don't go rolling those dice yet InVinoVeritas! :)

Knute will take note of the beggar. If he's still there on the way out, which is likely, he'll tip him a few coppers.

"Right, then let us prepare for our journey," suggests Knute. "I have everything I need except for food. And I'd hate to go to the market with an empty stomach or a dry throat. Perhaps we should find a tavern along the way."
