I'd prefer Quartz Dragon to Diamond. Crystals are the weakest and commonest type of Gem Dragon, and quartz is the most abundant terrestrial mineral that can form gems.
Also, there's already a dragon called Diamond - it's the personal name of BECMI's Star Dragon the Ruler of All Lawful...
Very hard to full implement Gem Dragons without Psionics.
But for love of Bane, please take this opportunity to renamed the Crystal Dragon to something else. Diamond I dont care. But it cant be Crystal again. Its a Gem Dragon. Crystal is implied.
One thing I should point out about Star TRek Adventures is that is started up with an organised play campaign of its own (which means Adventures) and supports multiple eras of play TOS etc. Many Star TRek rpgs have not.
Id point to Adv League as a good driver of sales for 5th edition.
Yeah dont see it either. I think Competitive D&D also brings out .... something bad in a lot of gamers too. D&D at its heart should always be a cooperative game.
I find it very confusing , all this talk of DS yet the FR is still the default for this edition and its literally named after a Beholder Crime Boss who run Skullport which is also in FR. Id love to see more setting specific Subclasses.
Does anyone think they will move again? THey probably have a list of criteria that determines that , ie distance from airport, number of hotel beds in an X number of blocks around the location.
I totally disagree with the premise of basing production in the US. THe overhead costs are way too high and its ridiculous to insist that the tables be made of American Wood.
Many years ago I was a player in Shatterzone , a West End product which was described to me as the dm 'where Star Wars ideas went to die' . I dont remember a great deal about the game but it definetly felt very Star Wars like without actually having the Empire and stuff in it. I did also play...
Id second that. I have a single store local to me which is essentially a CCG shop. Yeah they stock some rpgs and Boardgames but it makes its money from CCGS and tournaments. Now if Magic ever declines beyond the gradual now, then that store simply wont survive. Sad but true.
To be honest, I much prefer the regularity of game days at stores or another location. Conventions can be nice , but locally I have to travel too far to get to one. We just dont have the local gamer numbers to make a local one happen. I think regular game days establish something, whereas a...
