    D&D 4E 4th edition deity stat blocks?

Early on in the edition's life the philosophy was that the gods were just too far beyond the heroes, even at level 30, that there was no use for a stat block. Or you were just not gonna fight them.

    Favorite Transformer?

They finally fixed that issue in court: Harmony Gold can no longer go after Hasbro for Jetfire. Ever again.

Game Design: Acquiring Equipment as Part of Game Play

It was on the DS. I don't know if they made a port elsewhere. A lot of the mechanics were recycled in the Bravely Default franchise but I don't think they kept the spell book part.

Game Design: Acquiring Equipment as Part of Game Play

Would be interesting to see a fantasy version where (almost) everything is equipment with your characters developing proficiencies. In Final Fantasy: Four Heroes of Light, all your spells are books in your inventory (and each of your character only has 15 inventory spots for everything) so you...

    Favorite Transformer?

I think my avatar makes it pretty obvious. Brainstorm is more busy than you've ever been doing things more important than you've ever done. Other Lost Lighters like Whirl, Swerve, Nautica, and Anode are also in my favourites. There's others I like: Rattrap, Skybite, Crosswise, Evac...

    What makes a TTRPG tactical?

It's why a 4e Fighter's Mark is a great tactical tool. It gives the opponent two bad options: Do I A) attack this tanky beefslab that might not even feel it if I hit, or B) I let it take a potshot at me with his massive attack while attacking their frailer comrade? Making sure to impose this...

    Yeah that sounds about right.

    What makes a TTRPG tactical?

Not that my definition is foolproof, but to me 'strategy' and 'tactics' are different thing. Strategy is what you lay out before a fight, tactics is how you react once the battlefield is met. A formation is strategy, what you do when an opponent breaks your formation is tactical decisions. A...

    What makes a TTRPG tactical?

Personally, I'd say the choices of one player should impact the opportunities of another player. If you use a certain ability it should open up options for someone else. Creating synergies should be part of tactics. Yes! Another thing would be that pure damage is not always the optimal way to...
