    Poison Immunity

I agree the summarized results are correct, but I'm not following what you mean by poison damage being unavoidable. Poison resistance or immunity can certainly stop poison damage - it just doesn't stop damage that doesn't have the poison type, whether or not the attack has the poison keyword...

What rule does your group ignore?

It's called "Direct the Strike". New at-will in MP2. The tradeoffs are that it doesn't grant any bonus to hit, and it's ranged, so it provokes opportunity attacks from the warlock. Still, it's a great power if you have someone with good basic attacks in the group.

    Follow Up Blow question

I'm not so sure ""...may be used as a melee basic attack" is in any way different from "is a basic attack." Bracers of the Perfect Shot add their damage bonus to Magic Missile, for instance. And the melee equivalent item works for druid powers like Grasping Claws.

    Rogue Sneak Attack Rules Question(s)!

Standing up from prone does not provoke opportunity attacks. Opportunity attacks take place before the action that triggers them. So if, for instance, a target provokes an opportunity attack by moving out of a square in which it's flanked, a flanking rogue will still have combat advantage for...

    Questions about Conjurations

That power has the Summoning keyword, not the Conjuration keyword. They work very differently. Very broadly speaking, Conjurations produce effects that are more like magical objects while Summons produce effects that are more like actual creatures.

The Shaman and some Feat Questions

The errata doesn't allow Weapon Expertise or Implement Expertise to stack with another copy of the same feat. Because you can take the feat multiple times for different weapon groups, without the errata they would technically be able to stack when using a weapon that's a member of two or more...

Does Melee Training make Deft Strike redundant?

Deft Strike still does a lot of stuff that a charge does not, even if you have Melee Training. Deft Strike can be used to make a ranged attack. A charge can't. A charge ends your turn. Deft Strike does not. A charge requires that you move at least two squares. Deft Strike does not. A...

    Jumping Wonkness

I think you're confusing the long jump rules with the high jump rules. With a running start, an athletics check of 20 will get you four squares or 20 feet - as a long jump. As a high jump, you divide your check result by 5 (with a running start) to get the number of _feet_ you jump rather than...

    Implements, Arcane and Divine

The ability to use an implement is a class feature; each class lists the exact rules in the text block that tells you which implements the class uses. As I recall, each class says it can use the appropriate implements on "paladin powers" or "wizard powers" or so forth. So your half-elf paladin...

How does stealth work in combat?

In the errata under the "Not remaining hidden" bullet, it says: "If you take an action that causes you not to remain hidden, you retain the benefits of being hidden until you resolve the action. You can't become hidden again as part of that same action." So if the action that causes you to...

    Help me understand this ability

9/10 concealment was a term used in 3.0. I expect the ability is from a creature not updated to 3.5, right? 3.0 divided cover and concealment into 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, 9/10 and total. 3.5 simplified things - the simplest way to update the ability would just to read it as 'giving it concealment.'...

    Alternatives to Loremaster class

Loremaster isn't quite a feat every other level - you can't take the same secret more than once, so you can only take Applicable Knowledge once. Some of the other secrets are pretty nice too, though. Anyway, Paragnostic Apostle is definitely worth a look. It's a five-level class with entry...
