I'm not sure how you can have reviews of a game that just released today. They ran a whole campaign in less than 8 hours? I'll wait for the eventual Quinn's Quest review.
I hate when nerds "well actually" .... but he first appeared in a comicbook minisereies in 2009, and then was in the 2010 video game Shattered Dimensions before Spider-Verse was a thing.

There was nothing to back. None of Darrington's Press ttprg games have been crowdfunded. It's a full retail release. I wish we had more of this in the industry.

I don't really have a leg in this race, as I haven't purchased anything from Goodman before, and won't be backing this project.
However, I was interested in taking a look at their upcoming 5e hack, but I certainly won't be doing that now.
There are a lot of oofs here to unpack, but I think a big one (ontop of all the big ones) is kickstarting a new edition a decade after the previous kickstarted edition remains unfulfilled.
We know they have a Daggerheart mini-series coming. Matt leaked it early. We just don't know when. I assume they are going to try and time it around the release next month.
I do wish there was MORE though. Get the DND youtubers advance copies so they can make preview videos like DND 2024 did.
the frog people who can use their tongue as a bludgeoning weapon did it for me. That's when I knew i was gonna like most of their design choices. All the playable ancestries are pretty cool.
