Can be nasty when used with a greatsword of one size category higher. One of my player's tends to do that alot, and mooks tend to explode around him. Of course, his crappy will save makes up for it.

Depends on the PrC. Many state, at least for the paladin, that the multi-classing does not cause them to become ex-paladins. And finally, it also depends on the DM and what he/she rules. I've played with some who allowed any PrC without losing the ability to level as a monk or paladin, and...

And as you can see, we all have our own views on this subject. As it has been stated, sit down with your player and work out his code. That will solve most of your problems. Also keep in mind any restrictions or requirements of the paladin's religion, if any. Personally, I see no problems...

As with everyone else, the creature will be able to use each ability X times per day. Otherwise, it would state use X or Y 3 time sper day, etc.

One of the reasons I like the devils most. That and the fact that more so than the other, IMHO, they will toy with you and even let false hope grace the victim. And then its too late. But I admit, ever since seeing Doctor Faustus in real life, that sealed the devils for me.

Currently, I would say option 3. It used to be just option 1, but people change, move, etc. And not all new players become friends, although most do. Still, I have met several good friends through gaming, and brought a few non-gamers over to the dark side. Ah, good times, good times.

I would allow it. The only mechanic I would alter is to lower the weight, while upping the cost. It would be used as a roleplaying/flair item mostly. Just my two cents.
