I’d say yes, but I’ve actually only played 5e one time so that’d technically be misleading. But I have all the stuff. I guess I will continue to buy both.

Though it did in the Playtest, immunity to disease no longer appears in undead statblocks. It's a common sense issue, I suppose, but I do wonder why it was specifically removed.

I agree that the wording seems pretty unambiguous. If you could learn the spell normally via your class and level, you automatically succeed. Otherwise, make an Arcana check.

As interesting as all the pricing discussion is, it doesn't seem to have much to do with whether or not Hoard of the Dragon Queen is a good adventure. I'm not convinced it is. A number of the encounters seem far too deadly, as if the encounter math wasn't worked out at the time of production...

I've noticed that, weirdly, it seems like all monsters we've seen so far (including undead) have lost their disease resistance or disease immunity in 5e, despite having it in the playtest. Since it's not a ranged attack and Contagion doesn't grant a save until after it has already taken...
