Over 50 new planets - including a so-called super-Earth could support life - was discovered by a telescope exoplanet hunting the European Southern Observatory (ESO). The features found in extraterrestrial planets has 16 super-Earths, which are potentially rocky worlds that are more massive than our planet. One in particular - known as HD 85512 b - attracted the attention of astronomers because it is in orbit at the edge of the habitable zone of its star, suggesting that conditions could be met to sustain life.
