the price of the sets are not worth it to me looks nice but honestly there are other 5e sci fi books that work just fine. Ultramodern, everyday heroes, genepunk. and others. I think this would be good for those who liked travler so good luck on the books.
what about "solo " don't you get means only one person, they want to head to AI dming and this is the first step in elinating the DM, doesn't come right out and say it but they are going that way.
Oh yes they want solo play, so to eliminate the DM and just sell to the player base and control and monetise the heck out of them. Where as, a DM just needs the basic books and can create our own content and ignore or alter rules as we want for the players.
I refer you all to history and Andrew Jackson, who used them to get us out of debt- well, until Woodrow Wilson shackled us to the Federal Reserve and took control from the USA and delivered control of our currency to private banks.
Their heavy-handed tactics are hurting them and will drive more away or to 3rd party sites, which let more freedom and use and don't put things behind a paywall or try and over-monitize the person on the site. As it is shadowdark seems to be filling a gap that Hasbro so generously made, lol Talk...
I prefer books and sheets. This seems way oversimplified for this type of game and setting. Others cover this just fine and don't know what this stuff is from the description. Is it just a dry-erase player card with some small game bits on it? That is what it looks like from what I can see.
