I couldn't be on for a while but when I checked back, I saw all these great ideas. I think that the diplomacy/intimidate idea is probably the best option because it has the added bonus of being cheap. The illusion is also a great idea though, and I love the imagery.

As far as I know, there are certain standard wishes which must be fulfilled completely, but you are allowed to wish for anything. The DM is'nt obligated to fulfill the spirit of the wish though, only the literal interpretation.
