I play D&D 5e and various board games. In RPG's, I like to play a character with a strong backstory that I write myself. I see roleplaying as a way to save the world, a way for everyone to live the life of their dreams without ruining the planet, a way for people of vast differences to interact safely on a more level playing field and thereby diminish xenophobia. I've got big ideas, big words, and a big voice but I can be prodded back into the humble box easily with a gentle reminding as I don't want to be a boor. I have less ego and a more resilient personality than most and this comes from my interest in the Stoic school of philosophy and my vocation as a nurse. I have the most vivid dreams and I only wish I could be so creative in the waking world. Games help with that.
