D&D 5E Is the Champion weak compared to Battle Master?

If you use a greateaxe and manage to roll a 19 more than four times between all of your rests then maybe champion is stronger. And... On 18th level the champion gains a good ability.

    D&D 5E Druid 20 = Infinite Hit Points

As this thread title suggests, the problem is his infinite Hit Points. But I understand your point, you don't care that an unoptmized level 20 druid can ignore the almight rage of two barbarian warlords at the same time without spending any resource. My opinion is different, it's normal for...

    D&D 5E Druid 20 = Infinite Hit Points

Since I started this thread I will show my understanding about most opinions I saw the last few days: There are people who agree with OP and offer solutions: 1. "You can just change it from X to Y" Yes, for now I am playing the game as designed, but once all core books are out it will maybe...

    D&D 5E Druid 20 = Infinite Hit Points

Yes, you say that being alive is pointless unless you are useful, but remember that this druid, on top of ultra healthy, is a capable caster, he is far from useless. Even without his spells, given enough time, he will own all damage dealing critters. On event that his friends die, he can cast...

    D&D 5E Druid 20 = Infinite Hit Points

It seems the strongest defensive form druid can take is that of an earth elemental, I don't have the complete stats here, but it is something like 126 hp, resistance to damage, 17 AC. And I just looked at the Tarrasque's stats, he is CR 30 and has no chance to harm a moon archdruid.

    D&D 5E Druid 20 = Infinite Hit Points

Maybe, maybe not, only the Monster Manual can answer that. If you use just Player's Handbook as parameter then a Druid 20 will auto win against fighters, barbarians, rogues, monks and probably rangers and paladins as well. without spending any resource. that's half of the classes in the...

    D&D 5E Druid 20 = Infinite Hit Points

You seem to be really impressed by that ability. Like I already said, calling a god is not game breaking because it is completely up to DM, it can be auto win or auto lose, can be strong or can suck. You have no control about it. Barbarian got 240 hp x2(if it's physical damage) Druids have...

    D&D 5E Druid 20 = Infinite Hit Points

the "two pools" solution can balance the class, but will greatly reduce the Druid's "tank capabilities". Therefore, It has a great impact in gameplay. The "one pool" solution has an even greater impact on gameplay, but I agree with Ming that in terms of roleplay it is the best. My own...

I think most of us agree that it's a poorly designed rule, then?

    D&D 5E Druid 20 = Infinite Hit Points

You are not just the gratest punching bag. You are a full caster too, with access to 9th circle spells. you can assume a 100~200 hp shape as a bonus action then cast spells or attack as an action. if someone really strong deals more than 100 damage to you, you will assume 100~200 hp shape as a...

    D&D 5E Druid 20 = Infinite Hit Points

I don't think a druid will have to revert back to shape again, since by raw class features can be used while in wild shape. It would be a good houserule thou.

    D&D 5E Druid 20 = Infinite Hit Points

I want Barbarian 20 to have a chance in melee, but it is not the case. Both wish and summon god are up to DM, unless you want to replicate a spell.

Druid 18 allows you to cast spells wildsaped.

    D&D 5E Druid 20 = Infinite Hit Points

I think I'm missing something, please care to help. A Druid can WILD SHAPE twice per short rest, when he is on beast shape he will retain his Class Features, meaning he can WILD SHAPE again while still in a beast shape. When he assumes a beast shape he will have that creature's hit points...
