On a macro level? There's a lot more abilities etc surrounding social encounters and exploring. Maneuvers and some abilities give more options for combat so it's not quite as just trading blows. Basically it's built to be much more varied and give tons of choice. You could build a character with...
I just want to say I really just want to see it get going for a couple reasons. For one, just to see more of everything. Secondly because I have had a ton of different thoughts about things I'd like to throw at the wall and see if they stick. I was pretty late on really learning much about a5e...
I'm sorry if this has been asked and answered but in the advancement portion of the Artisan, it says crafting an enchanted item grants you 8 free "commoner apprentices" I haven't really come across what this mechanically does if anything.
I'm sure I just something somewhere though. That's...
Hello,
I was just wondering on everyone's opinion on allowing people to choose an o5e subclass is? Like, allowing a rogue to choose swashbuckler or an Adept choose way of the shadow in place of an a5e archetype?
Would you allow it? If so would you modify it or just leave it as written?
Thanks!
I don't mean to speak for anyone, but the feel in got from it was basically if it's pushed so far you've taken the fun out of the game for others, it was wrong to do so.
I think I need to expand on my own post here. It got to a point where other players felt useless in combat and it became a problem. It was an issue for the DM to build encounters because something my character could walk through was a overpowering threat to everyone else. So every primary...
I think the main thought behind what folks were saying (myself included) is that a5e is harder to create a truly just damaged focused build but that where you used to have to sacrifice all abilities outside of combat, you can still build to be effective in combat but your still going to be...
It's interesting to me, honestly, I'm usually a bit of a min max guy.... but, I could build a much better damage dealer in o5e than a5e, but somehow, a5e leaves me more excited about building the best combat focused character I can, but still being good at other stuff.
I'm just going to throw this out there as well. A lot of people have brought up what feels "luxurious" in terms of strongholds that bear the requirement to be "luxurious" has anyone considered that it might just be a costing system for tools and equipment? Like, a workshop is going to require a...
I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who was involved in this project. I'm still going through the book, but, everytime I see something new I am excited about it and it brings me a little bit more joy.
Thank you to everyone who put their hard work in to this. Honestly I...
