I think one of the MAIN issues why the classes and all are underpowered or wonky in Iron Kingdom Requiem is due to the Mechanika items. It seems like one of the "endgame" set up goals is to craft/make/find Mechanika items which can get some souped up features.
I remember one time two years ago...
The White Wolf 20 line is probably the best way of playing any of the classic World of Darkness series.
However, I think you can mine V5 or the respective 5th Edition games for lore stuff and what not or even names.
Theurge is basically what happens when a Wizard goes "Hmmm, I sure could use some Cleric spells in my kit. But my wizard spells are cool too."
Samples a little bit of both wizard and cleric spells.
In Deep Magic 2, they had rules where they had to have a certain amount of both IIRC. Honestly...
Tales of The Valiant Warlocks keep both spell slots And Pact Magic. The key difference being that Pact Magic Only applies to their Patron Spells provided by their Subclass.
Am I crazy enough that I would INCLUDE this Psion, the MCDM Talent, the Mearls Way of The Soul Knife, AND the Mystic UA as Psionics stuff for my 5E games along with the current available options such as the Psi-Knight?
YES!
I always LIKED the Psi-Die mechanic. They just did it so weird the first time around (low number good, high number bad) that I think it threw a lot of people off.
But I like Dice-based resource classes in 5E.
I wonder if they will do another base class after.the Psion, should it fully go...
