I grew up around Pyrocanthus trees and learned to avoid them by their bright red berries and nasty thorns When I do worldbuilding I always include them but up the ante to make their Fire Thorn name more literal and allow someone who knows what their doing to craft fire arrows out of them

Cus I like their monster designs and their warfare and retainer rules are fun

The Beastheart looked pretty good and I don't think anyone at my table would be interested in the Illrigger. Since strongholds are so different between A5e and MCDM I might just go with their strongholds and abstract A5e strongholds into just the benefits instead of them being physical places

Can I replace the A5e stronghold with an MCDM stronghold?

Does anyone know how well Matt Colvile's MCDM products integrate with A5e?
