I'm a college student who's spent way too much time with homework, and find myself with an nearly neurotic imagination, well not normal-per-say really. However, I am creative, friendly, several people like me--including janitors, secretaries and librarians--and I've roleplayed games for longer than I can count. Although I'm not a math major so I'm not truly sure how long that is. However, I am respectful of other players' personalities--whether neurotic or not--as well as the GM. I have a general understanding of the rules, but I'll usually ask the GM if it's ok if the character does something, and see what happens, rather than turn to a specific page number to clarify if it does or not. It's his/her rules and homeworld anyway and--like my mother said "since you're not driving, you can't touch to steering wheel, change the music, nor correct my grammar. All those children who do will get out and walk, or I'll tell your dad and you just see what happens then!" Well, regardless to say, I never did know if dad did anything or not, and I never did find out what it was like to walk home after having an argument over radio songs. The GM is the driver, and I'm a passenger along for the ride, and to have fun.
